When visiting Silverdale Cove the village of Silverdale is the perfect starting point, a small Parish village surrounded by greenery and plush open fields.
A ten-minute walk will take you to the cove where you will be faced with beautiful views out onto Morecombe Bay. With a mixture of beach and cliff top walking, you can appreciate the British landscapes and enjoy the sounds of the sea.
If you fancy a longer walk along the bay you can follow the coast towards Far Arnside and visit The Pepperpot, built in 1887 to commemorate Queen Victoria and the late-medieval tower that is Arnside Tower.
In the other direction towards Scout Cragg caravan site in Lancashire, you can walk through the Scout Wood toward Jack Scout and Jenny Brown’s point. The Wolf House Gallery can provide a welcome stop off with café serving hot food and drinks as well as serving as the perfect place to pick up souvenirs and gifts. Jenny Brown’s point and Jack Scout both offer panoramic views across the bay, best observed at sunset.
On returning to Silverdale, you can enjoy a drink in one of the many pubs and take a stroll through the quaint local shops before returning to your static caravan at Scout Cragg Holiday Park.
